Guggul + Pleurotus

Great combination of the well-known Ayurvedic plant Guggul and the versatile mushroom Pleurotus.

Guggul is the yellowish resin of the myrrh tree (Commiphora wightii), which has been used in Ayurveda for centuries. The first records of it can be found in the Vedas, which are the oldest texts in the world. Guggul, originally used as an incense, is now known as a substance that can be consumed for its beneficial properties.

In Ayurveda, Guggul is known to reduce vata and kapha dosha, but with more frequent use it can increase pitta dosha*. It is usually used in combination with other Ayurvedic herbs because it acts as a carrier of other herbs to deeper tissues. In our country, it is known to have a beneficial effect on the respiratory tract and has anti-inflammatory properties. It is also used to boost the immune system.
