Jiaogulan - herb

Jiaogulan - a plant that refreshes your home with a pleasant scent.

Jiaogulan(Gynostemma pentaphyllum) is a creeping plant that can grow 80 cm per year. It can tolerate very low temperatures, is winter hardy and extremely easy to grow at home, provided it is given enough light.

It is native to East Asia, where the Chinese have used it for centuries for its positive properties. Locals in southern China also call jiaogulan "Xiancao", which translates to "plant of eternal life".

According to the EU Novel Food Regulation, Jiaogulan cannot currently be sold as a tea or food. Therefore, we offer it to you as apotpourri - to decorate or improve the air in a room. A potpuri is anatural room freshener that consists of a single herb or a combination of different herbs.
