Beeswax is a natural product of worker bees. It is produced in the cells of the wax glands, which secrete liquid wax that solidifies on the surface into so-called scales. A worker bee produces an average of 8 scales in 12 hours, and up to 1,000 such scales are needed for 1 gram of beeswax. Bees use the wax mainly for comb construction, as it is hard, durable and insoluble in water.

Natural beeswax is most commonly used in cosmetics, as an ingredient in creams, ointments, lotions, soaps, hair products...

Use

Recommendation for use: Melt the wax in a water bath, preferably in a container made of natural material, at a temperature of approx. 65 °C. When completely melted, mix it with oils or other ingredients of your choice and wait for it to harden.
