Ovulation - the most fertile days of the menstrual cycle

Menstruation or menstrual cycle is a monthly cycle of natural changes in the uterus and ovaries that occurs in three phases: the follicular phase, ovulation, and the luteal phase.

Ovulation occurs around day 14 of the menstrual cycle. It is the process in which LH (luteinizing hormone) levels rise, causing the release of a ripe egg from the ovary into the oviduct. During ovulation, the period of most fertile days also occurs.

*Folic acid (folate/vitamin B9) is extremely important during pregnancy as it contributes to development of maternal tissue.

In addition, folate also contributes to:

• synthesis of amino acids,
• blood formation,
• functioning of the immune system,

• cell division (increased cell division occurs during ovulation),
• release of energy during metabolism.

• Be physically active regularly.
• Find time to relax.

Use

Recommended Daily Dose: 2 x 2 capsules or 4 x 1 capsule after a meal with plenty of water. Start taking at least 90 days before you plan to become pregnant. Take as directed or as recommended by a physician.
