Schizandra(Schisandra chinensis) is a climbing plant that is also called Wu Wei Zi or fruit of the 5 flavors. The fruits, which grow in clusters and are harvested in early autumn, combine sweet, salty, sour, bitter and astringent flavours.

In Asia, schizandra fruits have been used as a nutritional supplement for centuries, and the Chinese also squeeze the juice from them.

The pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a low-growing tree that is native to Asia and has many positive properties. It is a rich source of ellagic acid, which is a phytochemical.

The vitamins contained in it perfectly complement the plant extracts.

• Folic acid or folate (vitamin B9) and vitamins B6 and B12contribute to homocysteine metabolism.
• Vitamins B6 and B12 areinvolved in the formation of red blood cells, which carry oxygen through the blood vessels.

The product is a dietary supplement.
